YOGA NIDRA

My absolute go-to practice when I’m short on time and in need of a moments rest. Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is a meditation that requires little to no concentration, in fact you actually don’t have to ‘do’ anything, you can simply let your subconscious do the work for you. I love it because it helps you connect to your body, what you need in that moment and drop in to the senses. It’s also FOUR times more restorative than sleep. Yep, you read that right :-)

All you need to do is gather some blankets and cushions and lay down somewhere comfortable where the body feels supported. My only tip is to set an alarm if you have anywhere to be - it’s very normal to fall asleep!
