My work is rooted in a deep (&amp; personal) understanding of how stress and anxiety manifest in the body. My offerings are all about creating stiller moments, to put you back in touch with yourself, calm the nervous system and nurture skin, body and mind.       <image:caption>Meditation offers us an opportunity to step out of ‘doing’ and into ‘being’. It teaches us to be more at ease with ever changing and uncertain situations while gaining a healthy sense of perspective. Meditation isn’t about turning off thoughts or feelings, it is about learning to observe them. We use anchors, such as the breath, as a place to rest and focus our attention. When the mind wanders (which naturally it will!), we’re learning how to come back to the anchor again (and again and again) with kindness, compassion and without judgement. Learning to meditate is like learning any new skill: it takes time and practice and can feel hard and frustrating at times.       <image:caption>Place your two peace fingers on the 3rd eye space in between the eyebrows. Create really gentle circular motions with medium pressure, gradually working your way up the centre of the forehead. This is my favourite spot to work on with my clients (and myself!) to bring calm to the body and release tension from around the forhead.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Take the peace fingers from both hands and place them at the inner corner of your brows. Slowly, start to work your way out along the brow toward the temples and then create slow and gentle circles at the temples. It can feel really nice to gradually work into the hairline too. We hold so much unconscious tesion around the forehead so I really love to come back to this area time and time again. I tend to really furrow my brow so working out along the brow line feels amazing for me.</image:caption>

If you clench your teeth and tense your jaw, you will feel the masseter muscle firm up- this is the area you want to target- We use this muscle to chew and talk and it’s incredibly powerful. Release the jaw and part the teeth slightly before you start to massage - this will feel particularly good if you clench your jaw or grind your teeth. Do one side at a time.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>1. Sit or lay down somewhere comfortable where the body feels supported and at ease. 2. Place one hand on your belly and one hand on your chest. 3. Take a slow, gentle and deep breath in through your nose and without forcing the movement, direct your breath down into your belly and feel your belly rise and your lower ribs expand outwards. As you continue to breathe in, you may feel a slight rise of the chest also. 4. Breathe out through your mouth, as if you were super softly blowing out a candle, allowing the chest to fall, followed by the belly, allowing your shoulders and jaw to relax at the same time. Practice and repeat.</image:caption>
